Craig Media Inc. announced layoffs involving 37 positions at its Calgary and Toronto television stations, intended to further rationalize its operations and control costs.
The National Football League (NFL) today announced that Craig Media Inc., Canada’s largest privately held television broadcaster, will have exclusive rights to English language Monday Night Football broadcasts in Canada for the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
Craig Broadcast Systems Inc. has been awarded the new English language television station licence for the Toronto market. Toronto One, the successful bid, will launch in September 2002.
