| Ratings: Here’s the Situation – JERSEY SHORE Attracts a Record Number of Fist Pumpers on MTV |

Thursday nights are reserved for GTL and MTV. Last Thursday’s episode of the hit series JERSEY SHORE attracted more viewers than ever, ranking the second largest audience for a single episode in MTV’s history, hitting a total audience of 486,000 and 362,000 in P12-34.* This season also hits fist pump worthy numbers online. JERSEY SHORE has been the #1 video for the CTV online network over the last four weeks, with this season already hitting nearly seven million video views on mtv.ca.** Thursday night’s broadcast won primetime, garnering the largest audience on Canadian and US non-sports specialty networks. New episodes of JERSEY SHORE air Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Viewers can also watch episodes on mtv.ca.

| Ratings: JERSEY SHORE Fist Pumps Its Way To Its Biggest Audience Ever on MTV |

An MTV audience of fist pumpers united on Thursday for the Season 2 premiere of JERSEY SHORE garnering the largest audience ever for the series. The episode won its timeslot (10 – 11 p.m. ET) with the P12-34 audience amongst Canadian and US Non-Sports Specialty Networks. It also brought in its largest teen audience ever, ranking #1 amongst all Canadian and US Specialty Networks and #2 in its timeslot overall behind CTV. The highly-anticipated return of the series garnered an average of 255,000 viewers, beating the series previous audience record. The Season 2 premiere saw an increase of 174% over the average viewership of Season 1.

New shore, same crazy. The guidos and guidettes of Jersey Shore are back for another season of GTL (gym, tanning, laundry) and fist-pumping like champs on the dance floor. Season 2 sees the party move south to Miami Beach, where the crew spent the winter rekindling old friendships and old flames. Once the boardwalk heats up again, the series returns to the Jersey Shore to complete the season. The haters will be hatin', the Ron Ron Juice will be flowin' and the Snooki will be Snookin' on Season 2 of Jersey Shore, airing Thursdays on MTV at 10 p.m. ET/PT, beginning July 29.

| Ratings: TEEN MOM Premiere Up 154% on MTV |

MTV viewers turned out in droves to watch last night’s Season 2 premiere of TEEN MOM with 202,000 sets of eyeballs glued to television screens across the country. TEEN MOM’s P12-34 audience increased by 154% and overall audience numbers were up by 134% over the Season 1 premiere. TEEN MOM was also the #2 show in its timeslot amongst Non-Sport Canadian and U.S. Speciality Networks for P12-34.

| Ratings: THE HILLS Finale is Most-Watched Program Ever in MTV History |

Last night MTV recorded its largest audience ever when THE HILLS series finale was watched by nearly half a million viewers (483,000). THE CITY and THE HILLS LIVE: A HOLLYWOOD ENDING AFTER SHOW also delivered series highs: Season 2 of THE CITY wrapped up with 365,000 fashionistas tuning in, while 299,000 viewers watched a special episode of the Canadian-produced hit series THE AFTER SHOW, hosted by Dan Levy and Jessi Cruickshank. In total, the four hour MTV finale extravaganza reached more than one million unique viewers from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight ET.

| Ratings: MTV Wins Its Largest Audience Ever with THE 2010 MTV MOVIE AWARDS |

MTV in Canada set a milestone last night when the largest single audience ever watched MTV Generation Award winner Sandra Bullock lock lips with Scarlett Johansson at the 2010 MTV MOVIE AWARDS. Based on preliminary overnight data, the two-hour broadcast was watched by a record-breaking 380,000 viewers, with nearly one million viewers (986,000) watching all or some of the broadcast (526,000 viewers aged 12-34). The show was #1 in it time slot (9-11 p.m. ET) across all of Canadian television conventional and specialty television with total viewers, Teens 12-17, Adults 18-34 and People 12-34.

MTV in New York announced today that Christina Aguilera is set to perform at the 2010 MTV MOVIE AWARDS airing on June 6 at 9 p.m. ET on MTV in Canada.
In addition, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron, Jonah Hill, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Steve Carell, Miranda Cosgrove, Shaun White, Vanessa Hudgens, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Russell Brand are the first presenters to be announced.
