JERSEY SHORE Fist Pumps Its Way To Its Biggest Audience Ever on MTV Ratings / MTV Canada Posted by RAD on Aug 04, 2010 - 06:26 PM An MTV audience of fist pumpers united on Thursday for the Season 2 premiere of JERSEY SHORE garnering the largest audience ever for the series. The episode won its timeslot (10 – 11 p.m. ET) with the P12-34 audience amongst Canadian and US Non-Sports Specialty Networks. It also brought in its largest teen audience ever, ranking #1 amongst all Canadian and US Specialty Networks and #2 in its timeslot overall behind CTV. The highly-anticipated return of the series garnered an average of 255,000 viewers, beating the series previous audience record. The Season 2 premiere saw an increase of 174% over the average viewership of Season 1. New episodes of JERSEY SHORE air Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Viewers can also watch episodes on mtv.ca.
