On Sunday, January 9th, OMNI Television will present a special two-hour fundraising appeal developed in partnership with Canadians For Tsunami Relief (C.T.R.), a registered non-profit organization formed by local businesses, ethnocultural communities and social organizations to further enhance Canada's contribution to relief efforts.
OMNI Television is proud to present the English language premiere broadcast of Fallen Heroes as part of its OMNI Signature Series of Canadian produced documentaries. Previously aired in Italian, this documentary will air on November 13 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Fallen Heroes is part of OMNI Television’s Signature Series, a new block of programming showcasing compelling documentaries that reflect Canada’s ethnocultural composition.
Effective Wednesday, October 13th, both OMNI.1 and OMNI.2 will be broadcasting in High Definition Television (HDTV), with their signals available exclusively via Rogers (Cable) Television. Channels allocated on the HD tier are 275 for OMNI.1 and 276 for OMNI.2.
Two Toronto area stations will get to extend their broadcast reach to London and Ottawa. Viewers in those markets will soon be able to watch OMNI.2 and CTS over-the-air without cable or satellite.
