On September 1, Lloyd Robertson will deliver his final newscast as the Chief Anchor and Senior Editor of CTV News. In honour of this momentous occasion, Dan Mathieson, Mayor of Stratford, Ontario has declared September 1 to be Lloyd Robertson Day in Stratford. In addition, Mayor Mathieson will be making an announcement in front of City Hall on Wednesday, August 24. Lloyd Robertson and his wife, Nancy Robertson, will be in attendance. Details below:

On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, al Qaeda terrorists hijacked four commercial passenger jet airliners and flew them into various sites in the U.S. killing nearly 3,000 people in the worst attack on the American mainland in over a half-century. It was a day that will live in infamy. And now, with exactly one month to go before the 10th anniversary of these horrific, history-altering attacks, Discovery Channel and Bell Media’s factual channels announced today cross-platform coverage of the historic anniversary over four days in September. Beginning Sept. 8 and running through to the anniversary itself on Sept. 11, Discovery Channel and Bell Media’s factual channels will commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11 with extensive and exclusive programming.

Disney Junior is taking a summer vacation to Never Land this August with its Yo Ho, Let’s Go Summer! Week. Every day, from August 15 until August 19, the network will air two back-to-back episodes of Jake and the Never Land Pirates, beginning at 5:00 p.m. ET, including a new episode featuring the debut of the Pirate Princess, voiced by Tori Spelling (Beverly Hills, 90210). In addition to the special week-long programming lineup, viewers are invited to set sail for DisneyJunior.ca where they will find more treasures in the form of new Jake and the Never Land Pirates games and activities.

It’s a race to the courthouse as Bravo! welcomes an irreverent team of leading lawyers to its Monday night lineup, beginningAugust 22. First on the docket, comedy-dramaFRANKLIN & BASH, airingMondays at 9 p.m. ET, kicks off the proceedings with the first of two back-to-back premieres, exclusively on Bravo! Starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar (NYPD BLUE) and Breckin Meyer (Road Trip), the hour-long series zeros in on a pair of non-traditional, bad-boy, street lawyers recruited to join one of Los Angeles’ top law firms. TNT recently announced that the series has been green lit for a second season on the heels of a strong summer debut. Next up, is the hour-long drama SUITS, airing Mondays at 10 p.m. ET. Starring Gabriel Macht (Love and Other Drugs) along with Toronto-nativePatrick J.
