Given unprecedented access, A&E documents a unique, dedicated team of local cops, members of the Laredo Texas Police Department Narcotics Unit, who are waging a daily battle to protect the U.S. in "Bordertown: Laredo". The ten episode half-hour series premieres with back-to-back episodes Thursday, October 13 at 10 and 10:30 PM ET/PT on A&E.

Global Edmonton announced today that its comprehensive morning news coverage is expanding to seven days a week to provide Edmonton viewers with even more details on what’s happening in and around their city as well as around the world. Beginning September 11th, Global Edmonton will launch Sunday Morning News, airing from 8am until 10am. That same weekend, the Saturday Morning News will start airing from 7am until 10am, expanding this already popular newscast by one hour with a new earlier start time.

Gajdosik will use her extensive meteorological skills, and her understanding of the area’s climate patterns to provide Global viewers with the most precise and up-to-date weather information in the region. Viewers can look for Gajdosik weeknights on Global Winnipeg’s Evening News with Peter Chura at 6:00 pm, and at 10:00 pm for Prime News and 11:00 pm for News Final beginning September 12.

Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana Enterprises and Thunderbird Films announced today that they have sold the live-action comedy series, Mr. Young, to Disney XD channels in the U.S. and around the world. Territories in addition to the U.S. include the U.K., Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The series will premiere in most territories this year.

Six will perform, but only one will win the title of Canada’s Favourite Dancer. For the first time in SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA history, it was announced live on CTV tonight that six dancers will remain in the competition to perform in next week’s final performance show. The Top 6 dancers are: CHRISTIAN Millette (28), a Ballroom dancer from Montreal, QC; JORDAN Clark (19), a Contemporary dancer from Tottenham, ON; LINDSAY Leuschner (19), a Contemporary dancer from Stouffville, ON; MATT Marr (20), a Contemporary from Quispamsis, NB; MELISSA Mitro (23), a Contemporary dancer from Richmond Hill, ON; and SHANE Simpson (24), a Jazz dancer from Thornhill, ON. With six dancers left standing, it was revealed that ADAM and DENITSA received the lowest number of votes and were eliminated from the competition. The Top 6 will take to the stage on Monday, September 5 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV, giving viewers one last opportunity to vote for their Favourite Dancer before the winner is revealed during the live two-hour finale on Sunday, September 11 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV (go to ctv.ca to confirm local listings).
