The series premiere of CANADA’S NEXT TOP MODEL on CTV tuesday night was the #1 program on Canadian television last night for its target audience, A18-34.* In all, 694,000 viewers watched the premiere episode, preliminary overnight data reveals, making it one of the most-watched premieres of an original Canadian program this season. CANADA’S NEXT TOP MODEL was the #1 non-sports program from 8 - 9 p.m. among A18-34, A18-49 and A25-54.

It was announced today that the highly-anticipated new SPACE/CTV Original Series THE LISTENER will now receive a special two-night, two-episode premiere, with both broadcasts strategically scheduled to follow summer’s biggest series, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, on CTV. THE LISTENER now premieres Wednesday, June 3 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on SPACE and at 10 p.m. ET on CTV (10 p.m. ET), immediately following a two-hour SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Episode 2 now premieres in its regular timeslot, Thursday, June 4 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on SPACE and at 10 p.m. ET on CTV, also immediately following SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. W Network, Canada’s #1 specialty channel for women, presents The Ultimate W Expert Challenge, a set of three specials set to air Sunday, June 21 at 7 p.m., Sunday, June 28 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 5 at 7 p.m. Hosted by Karen Bertelsen, and based on W Network’s cross Canada online expert search last fall, seven finalists will compete head to head in a variety of challenges and screen tests to see if they have what it takes to become the next W Network expert.

Last night’s premiere of CANADA’S NEXT TOP MODEL on CTV saw drama of statuesque proportions with not one, but two finalists packing up their high heels. Alexandra, 22, from Penticton, BC, chose to leave the competition and Tiffany, 23, from Toronto, ON, was the first girl eliminated by the judges. Viewers who missed the premiere can watch encore presentations on Star! and FashionTelevisionChannel, Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET; on MTV, Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET; and a special Sunday night catch-up broadcast on ‘A’ at 10 p.m. ET.
