TELETOON is hitting the beach this summer as tomorrow, June 25, the channel broadcasts the world premiere of Stoked, the sun-soaked new tween comedy from the creators of 6TEEN and Total Drama Island. June 25 also marks the start of the TELETOON Get Stoked Tour, visiting ten locations across Canada featuring TELETOON trivia, prizes and a chance for visitors to get truly stoked on a surf board simulator. Meanwhile on teletoon.com, launching June 27, the Get Stoked Contest offers kids the chance to win a family trip to Orlando, Florida along with weekly Stoked prize packs.

In celebration of Canada’s birthday, The Comedy Network kicks the patriotic laughs into high gear with THE CANADA DAY CORNER GAS-A-THON. Fans can get an early start to the celebrations with a double-shot of the final season of Canada’s most successful comedy series. The first run of the 19-episode Season 6 airs 4 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET/PT, followed by a second airing from 1:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET/PT. Viewers experiencing withdrawal from CORNER GAS can get their fix of hilarious high jinks from Brent, Oscar, Emma, Lacey, Hank, Davis, Karen and Wanda.

As announced during last night’s MMVAs, the eagerly-awaited second season of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA jump starts CTV’s fall schedule with a four-hour two-night premiere on Tuesday, August 11 at 8 p.m. ET and Wednesday, August 12 at 8 p.m. ET. Encore episodes begin airing Sunday, August 16 on MuchMusic (visit CTV.ca and muchmusic.com to confirm local broadcast times). Corus Entertainment’s YTV announced today a special sneak peek of the highly anticipated CGI animated comedy series, The Penguins of Madagascar, on Friday, June 26 at 8 p.m. Produced by DreamWorks Animation, creator of the Academy Award® winning Shrek, in association with Nickelodeon, The Penguins of Madagascar will premiere on Saturday, September 12 at 9 a.m. in YTV’s Saturday morning hosted cartoon block CRUNCH.
