The Montréal-based band performs tracks from their latest album Wooden Arms, which has just been shortlisted for this year’s Polaris Music Prize. There is nothing inglourious about it. In honour of Quentin Tarantino’s latest release Inglourious Basterds, Showcase will feature some of Tarantino’s favourite films in the Bloods, Bullets and Badasses Festival from August 17 until August 21. Each weeknight beginning at midnight Showcase will pay homage to the famed director by broadcasting two of his most recognizable titles, two with Inglourious Basterds lead pretty boy Pitt and one he had a hand in by guest directing.

It’s going to be bucc Canada! CTV announced today the details of the extensive promotional campaign supporting the highly-anticipated second season of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA. Creating a strong presence for the series on air, online, outdoor and on the streets in cities across the nation, the jazzy campaign, which began on CTV on July 15, culminates with the big premiere tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11 at 8 p.m. ET and Wednesday, August 12 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV.
