Directly following the release of the Alberta Government's roundtable report "Finding Solutions Together," ACCESS The Education Station is pleased to present The Alberta Roundtable on Family Violence and Bullying on November 3, 2004 at 9 pm .

November is Family Violence Prevention Month, and ACCESS begins the month with a real-life example of people working together to find answers and take action against violence.

The Alberta Roundtable on Family Violence and Bullying is a one-hour documentary featuring the highlights of the provincially sponsored event held in Calgary in May, 2004. This event brought together experts, survivors, government and front-line workers to exchange ideas and create an action plan on how to deal with family violence and bullying in Alberta. The resulting documentary intensifies and deepens our understanding of two of the most difficult issues facing our society today, and brings to light solutions on how to deal with these complex and disturbing realities.

Featuring in-depth interviews with survivors, experts and government and non-government stakeholders, this is a must-see for anyone interested in the subject, and in our role in making our province a better and safer place to live.

For information on the report itself, please see the Alberta government website at www.familyviolenceroundtable.gov.ab.ca.
