| The Search is on for The Next W Network Expert |

W Network is asking viewers if they have what it takes to become the next W Network expert in a nationwide hunt to find Canadians with special talents. W’s second W Experts Search starts February 1 when viewers will be able to begin uploading videos featuring their expertise to wnetwork.com/expertsearch.
“We look forward to discovering new hidden talents in our W Network viewers and building on the roster of talented experts that are already featured in W Network programming,” said Joanna Webb, Vice President, Programming, W Network. “The first W Expert Search was a great success with over 600 video entries, concluding with the crowning of money expert Preet Banerjee as the Ultimate W Expert. We are thrilled to have Preet onboard as new W talent and look forward to this year’s winner.”
From February 1 – February 18, W Expert hopefuls can submit their videos online at wnetwork.com/expertsearch. The online videos will be rated and commented on by wnetwork.com users. The rating phase ends on Monday, March 8, and on Monday, March 22 the top 10 finalists will be announced and posted online. These finalists will be put through a series of challenges to determine the winner, which will be filmed for a set of three programming specials set to air in summer 2010.
Experts are wanted in the following areas:
* Beauty and style
* Food and nutrition
* Home and garden
* Health and wellness
* Personal development
* Shopping and money
Video submission guidelines and rules and regulations can be found on wnetwork.com/expertsearch. As an early entry incentive, the first 200 entries online are all eligible to receive free three month subscriptions to Elle Canada magazine from Transcontinental Inc.
